Elevated pH Technology
Maintaining a neutral pH is essential for healthy teeth, but for patients with an acidic oral environment, neutral isn’t enough. All our products are carefully formulated with an elevated pH to restore a healthy balance. By exceeding neutral pH levels, they help prevent harmful bacterial shifts caused by frequent drops in oral pH and promote a healthier, more resilient mouth.
Remineralizing Power
Prevent cavities and remineralize enamel at the same time! Our PRO Gel 5000 contains a unique and powerful combination of prescription strength fluoride and nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HA). Nano-HA bonds to the tooth surface, filling small holes and strengthening enamel. We were the first in the US to use nanoXIM by FLUIDINOVA, the only globally approved nano-HA for oral care, and are the only ones to combine it with 1.1% fluoride.
Reset & Restore Healthy Bacteria
Treat and reduce acid-producing bacteria to restore balance in the oral environment. Cavities stem from an imbalance in the biofilm, and the most effective solution is a strong oxidizing agent. View MoreWe have been using CariFree for a few years at All Smiles Care. It's an easy system to use to swab the patient and check their acidity level. We have a few patients on it that used to have decay every visit that now no longer have decay. The patients are pleased and say that their mouths feel a lot cleaner than they used to before CariFree. By identifying the risk factors, and actually altering the pathology and pH of ones mouth, we can stop this insidious disease in its tracks. The swab test is quick and pain free- just a little swipe to collect a bacterial sample. Using the CAMBRA system, we can customize a treatment program for each patient.
Our office has been using the CariScreen Meter since December of 2010. It has become routine in assessing caries risk and treating our patients according to their needs. The machine is quick and easy to use and we love it.

Our office has been using the CariFree products and it's great having products on hand to help patients with their bacterial infections. I especially like the gel, it is great to brush with. The CTx4 gel has some abrasivnesss and it make the teeth feel super clean.

Where are you located?
We’ve been in Albany, Oregon since CariFree was created in 2004. We have three separate locations within the area and are proud to say all our sales, manufacturing, and distribution is done in-house.
Who started CariFree?
CariFree began when Dr. Kim Kutsch needed a different solution for his cavity-prone patients; nothing he recommended worked! He set out to get help from the best experts in the world, and upon fully understanding the disease, he saw the gap in products and created something new.
What is the pH of your products?
All of the CariFree products range in pH of approximately 8-11.
Can I purchase CariFree outside of the US?
We currently have a distributor in Canada; if you’re interested in placing an international order, please contact us.
How long do the products last?
All CariFree products have an 18-month shelf life once produced; this date will be clearly marked on each item.
Can my patients order these products directly from you?
Not all products. Our over-the-counter products can be purchased directly from us, but our prescription-strength products must be purchased through a licensed professional. We proudly partner with thousands of dentists who carry our products in-office for convenience and better compliance for their patients.
