FAQs
FAQs

Why do you have an 1100 ppm and a 5000 ppm toothpaste?

The 1100 ppm is also a healthier toothpaste option for patients not at-risk for cavities and it is safe for kids under 6.

How much nano-hydroxyapatite is in your gel?

While we don’t release final concentrations of our formulas, our company focuses on quality and size, as studies show that the most bioavailable size of nano-hydroxyapatite particles are 20 nanometers, and rod-shaped particles are the safest and vital for remineralization. Our gels use high-grade, rod-shaped particles that present a length of <50nm and width of <10nm to ensure effective remineralization. Since 2012, we have used nanoXIM by FLUIDINOVA in our products, the only nano-hydroxyapatite globally recognized and approved for oral care by the European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety.

Why do you use Fluoride with nano-hydroxyapatite instead of n-HA alone?

Fluoride and nano-hydroxyapatite together create fluorapatite, which is more resistant to demineralization, a huge bonus when the goal is prevention.

Why did the ingredients change from alphabetical to by order of concentration? Did the formula change?

The formula has not changed. The Gel 1100 is both a cosmetic and OTC drug, to improve transparency for our customers, we chose to follow cosmetic labeling requirements 21 CFR § 701.3, “The label on each package of a cosmetic shall bear a declaration of the name of each ingredient in descending order of predominance…”
